The ritual.
Skincare, we believe, is not a list to be hurried through — it is a small, deliberate practice that bookends the day. A considered method, morning to night: each step laid in its proper order, each formula given the moment it needs to settle. Two unhurried minutes, repeated, that ask very little and return a great deal.
The morning.
Light, protective, awake — a routine to ready the skin for the day, not to weigh it down.
Cleanse
Begin with Le Lait, our gentle cleansing milk. A soft, low-foam emulsion that lifts the residue of the night without stripping a single ceramide. Massage into dry or damp skin, then rinse with tepid water — the barrier is left supple, never tight. The quiet first gesture of the day.
Treat
Press three drops of L'Eau Vive, our plumping serum, into still-damp skin. Triple-weight hyaluronic acid and squalane flood the surface with cushioned, long-held hydration — the active heart of the routine, applied while the skin is most receptive to drink it in.
Hydrate
Seal the serum beneath La Crème, our barrier cream. Ceramides and niacinamide draw a soft, breathable veil over everything below — locking in moisture, calming the look of redness, and leaving a finish that sits invisibly under whatever the day requires.
Protect
Finish, always, with a broad-spectrum SPF — the single most considered thing you can do for your skin. Worn daily, in every season, it preserves every ounce of the work beneath it. The last step of the morning, and the one we ask you never to skip.
The evening.
Slower, richer, restorative — the hours when skin renews itself, and our formulas do their quietest work.
Cleanse
Return to Le Lait at the close of the day, this time to dissolve the city, the screen-light and the wear of the hours. Take a moment longer here than you did at dawn — a slow, warm massage that signals to the skin, and to you, that the day is done.
Renew
Smooth on Nuit Claire, our renewal serum, formulated for the night. Bakuchiol — a gentle, retinol-free path to renewal — works alongside peptides to refine texture and clarity while you sleep, without the irritation or sun-sensitivity of harsher actives. The barrier-kind way to resurface.
Nourish
Warm two or three drops of Or Liquide, our squalane-rich facial oil, between the palms and press into the skin. The golden, weightless finish nourishes through the night, sealing the renewal beneath it and leaving the complexion soft, fed and luminous by morning.
Rest
And then — nothing. The most underrated step in any routine. Sleep is when the skin repairs in earnest; the formulas only set the stage. Dim the lights, let the actives work undisturbed, and trust the slow science to do the rest. Rest well.
Why the order matters.
A few quiet principles behind the method — the logic of layering, and the case for restraint.
The rule is simple, and almost always the same: thinnest to richest. Begin with the lightest, most water-loving textures and finish with the most occlusive. A water-gel serum like L'Eau Vive needs to reach the skin first, while it is still damp and most receptive; a cream or an oil laid down before it would only form a barrier the serum cannot cross. Build the routine the way you would dress for the cold — the finest layer against the skin, the warmest one on top.
It is for this reason that Or Liquide, our facial oil, always comes last. Oils are occlusive by design: their role is to seal, to hold everything beneath them in place and slow the quiet evaporation of water from the surface. Apply an oil too early and you simply lock the skin away from every active that should have followed. Used in its proper place, it becomes the finishing seal on the whole ritual — the warm full stop at the end of the sentence.
Underneath all of it sits a single conviction: the barrier comes first. The skin's barrier — that fine architecture of lipids and ceramides — is what keeps moisture in and irritation out, and almost every visible complaint traces back to it being compromised. So our formulas are built to support it rather than override it. We choose gentle actives like bakuchiol over their harsher counterparts, we pair every renewing ingredient with a calming one, and we leave out the alcohols and fragrances that so often disturb it.
Which is why the routine is short, and unapologetically so. A barrier is not strengthened by more steps but by the right ones, used consistently. Four formulas in the morning, four in the evening — no more than the skin actually asks for, layered in the order it can best absorb. Do this with care, give it a little time, and the skin tends to settle into a quiet, durable equilibrium. That, in the end, is the whole of the method.
