Sixty-plus coached classes a week, six days deep. No filler sessions, no half-rep crowd. Pick a slot, book it in the app and turn up ready to work. Every line below is a real coach in a real room — see you there.

01 / HOW TO READ IT

One board. No excuses.

THE RULES

Doors are open 24/7 and staffed 6am–10pm. Classes are capped, so book ahead — walk-ins fill the gap. Miss your slot twice in a week and the system bumps you to the waitlist. Train like it matters.

The week runs Monday to Saturday. Sunday the floor stays open for members on open gym, but there are no coached classes — recover, mobilise and get ready to go again. Every session below is led front-to-back by a coach who knows your numbers, scales the work to where you are today and holds the standard when you'd rather not.

Class length is 45–60 minutes. Strength blocks run on a coached 12-week cycle, so the movements you see repeat with intent — that's the point. Turn up, log the lift, chase the number.

High means a flat-out engine or a heavy top set — leave nothing in the tank. Mid is hard graft with technique on the line. Low is the recovery and mobility work that keeps you in the game for decades. All three are coached, all three are scaleable. Nobody trains alone here.

The early Strength Lab and the Saturday HYROX Sim fill fast — sometimes inside the hour they open. If your slot's full, jump the waitlist in-app and we'll text you the second a spot frees. Performance members get a 30-minute booking head start on every class.

03 / BOOKING

How it works.

THE FINE PRINT

Booking opens 7 days out and closes 30 minutes before the session starts. Free 7-day trial members can book any class from day one.

How do I book a class?

Every class is booked through the Apex app — search Apex Strength on iOS or Android, or tap in at the front desk. Slots open a rolling seven days ahead and lock 30 minutes before kick-off. New members on the 7-day trial get the same access as everyone else: book in, turn up, train.

What if the class I want is full?

Join the waitlist in the app and we'll text you the instant a place opens — which happens more than you'd think. Waitlist spots are offered in order and held for ten minutes. Performance-tier members get a 30-minute early-booking window on every class, so the popular 06:00 and Saturday slots are easier to grab.

Can I cancel a booking?

Cancel up to two hours before the session with no penalty and the spot opens for the waitlist. No-show twice inside the same week and the system moves you to standby for the next 48 hours — caps are tight and we hold them for people who turn up.

Do I need to book open gym?

No. The floor is yours 24/7 with no booking required — racks, platforms, the Engine Room and the Track are open whenever the door is. Booking is only for coached classes. Sunday is open gym all day, no classes, so come in and put the unsexy recovery work in.

Is the timetable the same every week?

The grid above is the standard week and runs on repeat through each 12-week strength block. We add extra HYROX Sims in the eight weeks before a major race and flag bank-holiday changes in the app a fortnight out. If a coach is away, another steps in — the standard never drops.
